Refund policy

USA DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS : PLEASE READ

Your item will be shipped by USPS or UPS and will be delivered at your door within 1-7 business days in most cases, but please understand that delivery speed is an estimate by mail carrier and sometimes it takes longer, which is not in my control. When your item is shipped, you will be notified with the tracking number. Please note that I usually ask the mail carrier for the acceptance scan when I submit the package, but unless it's express mail, mail carriers are not required to scan the item at each facility until delivery, which means sometimes online package tracking system may keep showing "shipping label created" until it arrives and being scanned at your local post office. It is important for me to make sure your item is safely delivered to you, so if you have any concern about your shipping, please convo me.

REFUNDS & RETURNS                                                                                                                          If you like to return your order, please contact us (info@theforestcloak.com) within 14 days from your delivery date. If 14 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

EASY RETURN STEP BY STEP 
(1) Contact us with your order number and let us know you want a return within 14 days after delivery date. Please do not send your item yet.
(2) We will respond you for the return instruction.
(3) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

ITEMS THAT ARE NOT REFUNDABLE                                                                                        Sale items and custom orders cannot be refunded.

ITEM NOT DELIVERED BUT TRACKING HISTORY SAYS “DELIVERED”
If item is stated as “delivered” on Shipment tracking history, it is considered to be delivered. It’s customer’s responsibility to have safe area, or have correct address for the item to be delivered. We are not responsible for lost, missing, or stolen item. It’s your responsibility to contact your local USPS and report the police if item is stolen.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OUTSIDE USA : PLEASE READ 

Mail carrier often provides tracking numbers, but capacity of it’s tracking or recording process is limited to the U.S land. However, we ship items in good faith, and shipping record will be provided to you right away once it ships. It is important for me to make sure your item is safely delivered to you, so if you have any concern about your shipping, please message me. 

SINCE EACH COUNTRY IS DIFFERENT, WE HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING TAXES, VAT, INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS, ETC.

DELIVERY TIMELINE FOR NON-US CUSTOMERS                                                              Please expect 1 to 2 weeks, or longer shipment time ( Can be 1 to 2.5 months) due to decreased ground & air shipping transportations. We can not be responsible for the delay by the mail carrier, and can not be responsible for the shipping fee of any types. Please note that even you choose International Express as your choice of shipping method, it could still be late, which we can not be responsible for the cost or any inconvenience. 

ITEM SENT BACK TO SELLER BY MAIL CARRIER DUE TO UNCLAIMED PACKAGE OR UNPAID VAT OR UNPAID CUSTOM TAX                                                                                     We will refund you cost of the order minus the shipping cost. We have no responsibility regarding taxes, VAT, international customs, etc.

REFUNDS, RETURNS and EXCHANGES FOR NON-US CUSTOMERS (if applicable)                                                                                                                        You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you like to return your order, please contact us (info@theforestcloak.com) within 14 days from your delivery date. If 14 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We strongly recommend you using a shipping with tracking number or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
